coke Zero ReformuLated

Last night I treated myself to a can of TaB from the lone 12 pack I have here in Canada, although long expired it still tasted perfect. I still have 12 cases being stored at my private mailbox in Niagara Falls, NY and I believe I have 5 cases left at my other home in Florida. These cases are likely expired too. I have a trip planned to Florida in late October and I hope the border restrictions are simpler to get across the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge soon. Although I am a dual citizen I am able to cross but I also don’t want to pay for a PCR Covid-19 test (about $200) to cross for 30 minutes to get my stash.

The news reports that Coke Zero is being reformulated for a third time. I remember being less keen on it when they changed it in 2017 but by now I don’t even remember what it tasted like before. I’m told it should be arriving soon. I bought some today at my local store - still black cans! Last night’s TaB was the first I’ve had since May, I’m trying to ration my supply.

COVID-19 continues to make the news and cases are slowing increasing in Ontario. It makes me long for 2019 before COVID and before Coke canceled TaB.
