Why TAbcola?

A lot of people ask why I started using Tabcola online or for email, no particular reason except I think when I signed up for a Gmail account I couldn’t get any combination of my name that suited me, so I randomly typed tabcola as I was sipping a can of TaB at the time.

I rediscovered TaB in 2003 in Kentucky and bought a couple of cases. Since then it has been my soda of choice. It is a more challenging drink as it isn’t readily available everywhere. It’s not available in Canada and the closest you can find it is parts of Pennsylvania or Michigan. Fortunately it is available in Florida where I spend a lot of time and Amazon safely delivers it to my NY mailbox.

So during the COVID-19 Pandemic when I decided to play with a blog & website - when it came to selecting a domain address - I automatically just started with tabcola.com - I was surprised it was available.

What’s my intention with this blog, I’m not entirely sure - but stay tuned!
